Warwickshire Organics began in 2007 and operates from a 15 acre farm incorporating a 45 tree orchard and a 10,000 square foot greenhouse housing 32 separate vegetable beds. We also have a separate soft fruit area enclosed in fencing and netting, along with vegetable enclosures.
In our orchard, which was planted in 2007, we grow 6 different types of pears, 10 different types of apples, 4 different types of cherries and 15 different types of plums and damsons. In our greenhouse we grow 12 different varieties of tomatoes, 6 different varieties of cucumbers, 8 different varieties of peppers, 4 different varieties of aubergines along with a host of other unusual and exotic fruit and vegetables including watermelons! In our vegetable pens we grow a variety of root vegetables as well as cabbage, sprouts, broccoli and cauliflower. In our soft fruit section we grow different varieties of red currants, white currants, strawberries, blackcurrants, gooseberries and blackberries.
We believe that you cannot beat eating local, fresh and organic produce with no use of pesticides or fertilisers whatsoever. In fact, although some fertilisers are allowed in organic production we take the option of not taking any so that our fruit and vegetables are completely natural.
